Experiences with the recruitment process are relevant for both facilities and employees in shaping future activities. When recruiting from abroad, the recognition of qualifications is a known challenge, while recruiting migrants already living in Germany often involves issues such as lack of trust in abilities and discrimination.
Research Questions:
- What (successful) recruitment strategies are used by different facilities in urban and rural areas, and what role do networks play?
- What does the application process look like, and what experiences have employees had with the recognition of professional qualifications and bureaucracy?
